This site exists for one reason: to help people become comfortable with agentic AI — AI tools that can take actions and get things done with you. If you are new to the idea of working with AI agents, we are here to provide an easy-to-understand introduction to the concept. If you are already familiar with agentic systems, we invite you to share your knowledge with the other visitors and members. We are enthusiasts, not vendors — building and sharing what we have learned together.
We do offer a no-cost, no-obligation membership, but there is never any pressure to join. You are always welcome to visit the site without becoming a member. Membership is only necessary in order to participate in the "members-only" sections we plan to implement, such as a members forum and a support section. The only requirement for membership is a verifiable email address, so that we can reliably reply to your messages and support requests. There is no sales pitch because we are not selling anything. No hype. No "sign up now."
All we are offering is an opportunity for you to familiarize yourself with agentic AI — or an opportunity to share what you already know. We provide clear, honest examples of real, useful things you can build — and the tools necessary to try them on your own. That is what the Windmill Club is all about. We may be "tilting," but at least we are tilting together.
This site was built by a human and an agentic AI, working together. The scripts here were produced by a live agent — the same kind of system we're helping you discover.
We built this because we've seen what agentic AI can do, and we want to share it. Think of us as mentors, passing along what we've learned.
If it clicks with you — wonderful. You're welcome here. If it doesn't, no harm done. Come back anytime.
What it's actually like for a human and an agentic AI to build something together — the back-and-forth, the iteration, and the honest work it takes to go from "it works" to "it works well." Start with the journey story, "Agents Are Not Just for Nerds," and the story of how we built a tool together.
Read Frank's CornerAnyone can talk about AI's potential. We hand you something that works and let you feel it.
We're not selling anything. We're straight about what it takes, so you can decide before you invest.
We never ask you to run something you can't read first. Every script is shown in full. Your computer, your choice.
The examples solve real problems — checking your PC's health, watching your home, organizing your life.
The tools and scripts here are not meant to be comprehensive. They perform real functions, but they exist to show you what an agent can do — a starting point. We may add more advanced tools in the future.
Agentic AI isn't magic, and it isn't reserved for programmers. It's a collaborator that can understand a problem you describe, build you something useful, and explain what it made — so you can inspect it and decide for yourself.
Here are real, working examples of what a live agentic system can do. They were built on request — and they work. Run them on your own computer and see the results for yourself.
We call these our "training wheels." Something you can actually run, inspect, and use — that shows you what's possible. Because we believe the best way to learn is to do.
A single script that checks the health of a Windows computer and writes a plain-English report — recent errors, broken drivers, failed services, and disk health. Built by an agentic AI, shown in full so you can inspect it before you run it.
A tool that builds a tool. It looks at your Windows network, shows you what it finds, asks which devices matter to you, then writes a brand-new health-check script custom to your devices. This one shows the creative, adaptive side of agentic AI.
You've seen what an agent can do. Now the real learning begins. It's time to build your own Agentic AI system on your own computer. And it's simpler than you think.
And it's worth it in a way you might not expect: an agent doesn't just answer questions. It can build you tools that run on their own — once built, they keep working free, forever, with no ongoing cost. Whether you're automating part of your work, building a business opportunity, or just curious, that's the real payoff of learning agentic AI.
The only way to learn agentic AI is to build with it. This is where we stop talking and start doing — the honest basics of getting your own working agent up and running, including what you need and the one big decision (local vs. cloud).
